Dr Justin Kane is an AMAZING orthopedic surgeon. I had painful bunions on both feet and I was putting off surgery for years. Consulted a well known podiatrist and I didn’t like the prognosis of weeks off my feet and using a scooter. Dr Kane’s surgical technique enabled me to walk on my own 2 feet same day of surgery. He’s also got awesome caring bedside manner. Truly wants to get to know and care for his patients and always personally available for questions or concerns. I wouldn’t trust my feet or ankles to anyone else. Did I mention they run a tight ship in the office with kind attentive staff that run on schedule with appointments? I appreciate listening from Doctors and staff, nowadays they seem to not listen due to the fact they do what they do, all day every. Amazing Dr. Kane! He managed to close my amputation so that it could heal properly and also snipped my Achilles’ tendon so it relaxed and hopefully it will relax my arch so the left foot isn’t comprised any longer and I don’t end up with another amputation. His personality is hilarious and he’s from Bew York so if he thinks it he says it and he is absolutely the best!!! I met Dr Kane at an urgent time. Following a basically botched, significant surgical procedure on my leg by another ortho surgeon, Dr Kane was faced w/ a difficult situation in which he essentially cleaned up the mess that a Dr I I trusted greatly had created. Most knowledgeable and medical savvy doctor I have had as long as I can remember. My ankle was dislocated and broken in 3 places. The office battled my insurance and everything that was needed. The surgery was amazing and although mine required a decent size incision.....it's barely visible. His bedside manner is outstanding. Response to questions was immediate. I can't believe how lucky I am to have received such wonderful care from Dr Kane. With the injury that landed me in the emergency room at Baylor Scott White Medical Center in McKinney, I was very scared. Dr Kane wasn't even on call that night but came in to help. I am so lucky he was a phone call away. My dislocated ankle was put back into place without surgery and my fallow up visit to check my healing progress was amazing. Dr. Kane did my left foot surgery to repair my broken metatarsal bone. I was very happy with the result , I didn't think I would heal up this fast this good! And talk about his personality! Love him. So personable and thorough. Had an emergency patella rupture and he operated the next day. Explained everything and also gave me a great explanation of pain and rehab expectations. Sat down with me, my mom, and my husband to make sure we knew what had been done to my knee. made us feel so comfortable. Would recommend him to everyone. And knees aren't even his specialty. I can't even begin to find the words to express my sincere thanks to Dr. Kane and his team for the care they provided to me. Dr Kane is the most genuine surgeon I have experienced and sincerely cares for his patients. He is very personable, humorous, yet extremely professional, very knowledgeable in modern treatments, and willing to take the time to explain the root cause of the problem and how it can be corrected. He is both confident and humble in his approach and left me with a very peaceful decision to operate on my foot. I required extensive realignment and the results were phenomenal! He prepared me both for the initial surgery and the healing process to follow. He was even willing to sacrifice his holiday time at year end to insure I had to most insurance benefits. His office is perfect! I observed and found myself astonished at the precision in which is it ran. They focus on individual patients, almost like a formula one pit stop, with every person working to complete their responsibilities. I never felt rushed but considered "number one" important and my needs covered in a timely manner. It is utterly the text book scenario in checking in and completing the appt. Absolute Perfection!

I don’t normally write reviews but I couldn’t deny this one. Dr. Kane is absolutely amazing. He has excellent bed side manners and truly cares for his patients. I had an ankle surgery done that didn’t go well and it was causing pain the last couple years. I came to Dr. Kane and he took care of everything. His confidence makes me very comfortable and makes me feel like I am able to trust him. He educates your on your body and takes the time to make sure you are fully understanding in all steps. Through this whole process he also did my surgery while I was pregnant and if it weren’t for him I would have been miserable. Overall an amazing practice and the staff is amazing as well. I was referred to Dr. Kane from my Internal Medicine doctor. I told my doctor about my foot pain and he strongly recommended I find out the cause. I saw Dr. Kane and within 5 minutes he diagnosed my foot problem. He explained to me what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix my problem. I underwent my foot reconstruction surgery and I would say it’s was a success. Rehabilitation is the key to success. Dr. Kane does a phenomenal job but if you don’t put in the work at rehab then you won’t get the best results.

There was a real concern I might loose my foot, due to an infection I had in the bone. Dr. Justin Kane and his entire staff were very professional and knew exactly how to assess my condition. I just recently broken my toe. Didn't know who or where to go. Luckily I would with an awesome coworker that knew Dr. Justin Kane. He absolutely educated me all that he could. He was able to get me in so quickly. Love love his attitude and bed side manner. I was super nervous, freaking out, stressing, having all the anxiety a person can have. I've only seen him 2 times. Never had a broken bone ever in my life. He def made me feel comfortable and a little more at ease. They were able to get me in fairly quickly and it went well and very quick. I'd def recommend him to anyone that needs surgery for their foot.

I have never written a review before but felt compelled to now so I could share my experience and hopefully others will find this information helpful as well. I had bilateral bunion surgery by Dr. Kane 2 weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased with the process and outcome. I've been putting this off for years. I work and have 2 young kids so the idea of being off my feet for 6 weeks, like with traditional bunion surgery, was not even an option for me. However, Dr. Kane does minimally invasive bunion surgery. I had both feet done at the same time and was able to walk (with a post op shoe) post op day 1. The pain was minimal (just had to take tylenol). Was very easy to contact Dr. Kane for all of my post-op questions/concerns. Everyone at his office was very attentive and kind. I'm now 2 weeks out and the swelling is gone, i'm back to wearing regular shoes, and going back to work in a few days. My sincerest gratitude to Dr. Kane and his entire staff at the orthopaedic institute of north texas. I would recommend Dr. Kane and his office to every family member/friend/colleague!

I was introduced to Dr. Kane after having 4 previous surgeries for a torn achilles and subsequent infection. Dr. Kane and his colleagues were able to prevent amputation of my foot and, while the achilles was not salvageable, his surgery to repair the damage to my foot enabled me to be able to walk again. Nothing short of a 100% recommendation for Dr. Kane if you need surgery on your foot or achilles.

Bi-lateral bunion repair that was done less invasive and shorter recovery than previously visited doctors wanted me to endure.

Dr Kane and his staff are very friendly and helpful. He explains things so that non-medical individuals have a comprehensive understanding of the condition and procedures to fix the condition. Even when my bunions gave me recovery issues he sent me to therapy to help. I have recommended him to several of my friends. Dr. Kane happened to be in the hospital when I broke my leg. It was a very bad break. He was wonderful and so kind. Most doctors would have performed the surgery and that would be the extent of the relationship but he goes above and beyond giving you his cell phone number and answering any questions when you call. He and his staff treat you as if you were their only patient.

Dr. Kane, did a great job for me. The first doctor that amputated all of my toes wanted to amputate the lower half of my leg saying the the skin that was left on my foot had died. I went to Dr. Kane on a Wednesday moring that afternoon he had me in surgery closing my foot with the swing that the first doctor said was died that was not died. Going to Dr. Jane's office is always a good experience. The staff and Dr. Kane are always friendly. You never have to wait long to see the doctor. Feel incredibly fortunate to have met Dr. Kane and been under his care for my broken fifth metatarsal on my left foot. Turned out he had done a paper on the fifth metatarsal and where I thought I was going to have to be nonweightbearing for many weeks, I was able to be weight bearing. The urgent care doc I went to when I first broke my foot was not aware of this. So I suffered for two weeks before finding Dr. Kane.

It also turned out I had severe tendinitis in both my feet, and with his guidance and grace have been able to recover tremendously from this chronic pain I had pre the broken foot as well. It is not often l find a medical office that pays attention to customer service. This office is exceptional, from check in to swiftness in radiology to being seen, and quick checkout. Dr Kane has always taken all the time I need when I’m with him too. At my first visit, he was especially interested in me the person, not just the patient which I found refreshing and amazing. His knowledge, kindness, and candor are unmatched.

Good people know good people, so when Dr. Dibra joined the practice I immediately took my mother who’s had bad knees for quite some time to see him.

If you have feet or knee issues, I highly recommend you visit this practice!!

I went Dr. Kane after suffering a bicep tendon tear and he fixed me right up! He made me feel very comfortable throughout the days leading up to the surgery. The surgery came out great!

From what I understood, the procedure I underwent has a high risk of permanent numbness which affects the arm being operated upon. Despite that, I have recovered and I am not experiencing any numbness! Dr. Kane explained the procedure very well and told me he was extra careful to avoid damaging my nerves during the operation.

I appreciate everything Dr. Kane and his team have done to help me heal and regain use of my arm!

After suffering with large bunions on both feet for about 30 years, Dr Kane performed his 3-D Lapiplasty correction on my feet in January 2020. My overall experience has been extremely positive.

The procedure is out-patient and mine was bilateral. My recovery time passed easily and quickly with minimal pain. I am 4 months post-op and my feet no longer hurt wearing properly fitting shoes, and they look great! I highly recommend Dr Kane and the 3-D Lapiplasty Bunion Correction. He is very professional, personable and a great surgeon!

I am speechless. A big piece of glass felt and cut my foot very close to the tendon. He took care of me immediately. Dr. Kane made sure the tendon and nerves were okay and he cleaned it and added 3 stitches. Very professional and clean. I am so happy that I he was the one fixing my foot.

He replied it was and he was Dr. Kane. He was up front ,helping his staff with appointments, etc. Honestly, how many other doctors do you know that would be that helpful?!
